It was thanks to the massive effort at U8 & U10 that Cumann Pheadaír Naofa were, for the first time this season, able to field both teams at both U8 & U10 Hurling at the all-county Blitz in Downpatrick on Saturday. The U8s played three games, beating Clonduff, drawing with Castlewellan & losing to Kilclief. Whilst the U10s, fielding in their first game of the season, played four games which included a moral boosting win over Kilclief.
