Warrenpoint reserves hosted neighbours Rostrevor on Saturday, the first half saw Warrenpoint have all the possession but couldn’t capitalise and went into the break level thanks to scores from Niall McGovern (mark), a Cian mcloughlan free, James Murdock, Paul Og Carty and an Eoghan Byrne 45.
The second half seen the ‘Point have all the possession but this time they were able to convert it to scores, a goal from Jamie grant early on set the tone and Warrenpoint then kept plugging away at scores with Jamie Grant, Oggie, Eoghan Byrne, Cian McLoughlin and Niall McGovern all getting on the score board. However the score of the game came from young Jack Elmore who put the ball over the black spot with the outside of the right from 40 yards to help Warrenpoint to an eight point victory.
Four wins from four for the Blues leaves them top of the table with one game away to kilcoo to finish off their league campaign with a semi final place booked.
