Week 2 of our Gaelic4Girls programme was a terrific success with numbers up on last week – an incredible 82 young ladies enjoying learning the skills of Ladies Gaelic Football on a sunny Sunday morning in St Mark’s High School.

This 8 week programme, aimed at increasing participation in Ladies Gaelic Football, is focused on fun and participation allowing girls to get an introduction to Ladies Gaelic Football in a non-competitive environment. Upon completion of the programme, participants will be given the opportunity to join Cumann Pheadair Naofa and become integrated into our existing football teams.

Please note that Week 3 of Gaelic4Girls will be held in St Mark’s High School next Sunday (9 th April) at the later time of 2-3pm. *New members (aged 8-12) are still very welcome. Contact Noreen Kelly, Ladies Gaelic Administrator, (07846 392235) for more information.
