Warrenpoint GAA tonight launches our Christmas Appeal in memory of Teddy Boyle 💙 This appeal aims at ensuring that no one goes without during this very different festive season.
Covid-19 has and continues to hit our community hard and our response team continues to help within the community where needed.
The Christmas appeal will be accepting:
– Cash donations using our Christmas Appeal confidential envelopes (available next week)
– SVDP oil stamps
– Toy shop vouchers
– Vouchers for our local grocery stores, chemists, shops
*** Collection nights will coincide with Christmas merchandise collection nights late November and Early December***
We appreciate the support of our local shops and businesses throughout the year and understand that during these uncertain times it is more important than ever to support local, so we commit to spending money donated within the shops in our town and encourage you to do so also.
If you are or know anyone in need of any assistance then please contact us on the confidential number above, through PM, email ashmcgiv@gmail.com or through any committee member. All requests are completely confidential. If you require a certain toy or item for a child at Christmas then please also let us know and we will aim to meet individual requests where possible.
Our hope is to provide:
– Christmas dinner hampers
– Toys for children or vouchers teenagers
– Oil stamps
– Chemist vouchers
We also aim to provide a Christmas dinner service for anyone who may be alone or shielding, so again if you know anyone who may need this support contact us. 💙
We have, as a community dug deep to help, support and be there for each other and as a club we are extremely proud of the efforts of all. Let’s continue to support each other in the difficult days and months that lie ahead.
We remember those who lost loved ones this year and run this appeal in their memory. We are all in this together and we will get through it together.
