There was a warm and welcoming atmosphere on Friday night past in the social club when the U8 and U10 football teams came together in a fundraising event to raise funds to bring both teams to the Capital city for a football match with local clubs and a visit to GAA Headquarters.
The management teams, under the leadership of Johnny Rooney worked tirelessly for weeks to secure quiz sponsorship & fantastic raffle prizes for the night. After all the hard work they have secured a final total of just over £1400, a fantastic achievement to ensure the young teams enjoy a team bonding day out in Dublin in May. Many thanks to everyone who supported the event, to quiz master Aislíng McGivern for ensuring the smooth running of the night & Willy Gallagher for manning the bar all night.
