For their latest Tournament the under 8 squad made the short journey to Burren, upon arrival they split into a Primary 3 group and a Primary 4 group. Tough opponents came in the shape of Saval, Ballyholland, Clonduff and Burren, however both Warrenpoint teams played extremely well and the hard work being put in at training is certainly beginning to show, as the P3s and P4s both progressed to their respective semi-finals.
In front of a vocal support both sides give it their all in the semi-finals but it wasn’t to be and unfortunately their participation in the tournament finished at this stage. The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed a very well organised Tournament.
