The U19 footballers lifted the B title on a sunny Sunday in St John’s where they ran out convincing winners in the end against a very strong Loughinisland team; 3:15 to 4:10 where there were goals galore!
Luke Kelly pulled off an amazing penalty save and without a doubt the score of the match came from Harry Lynch who netted a goal with a volley mid air, the likes of it the crowd had never seen before! The man of the match performance came from the skilful, hardworking Rory Powell who pointed some fantastic scores. This team, under the new management of Christy, Darren, Paul and Conor certainly are one to look out for.
