The newly formed Ladies U16 team, ‘Droichead Pointe’ (an amalgamation between Warrenpoint & Mayobridge) kicked off their league season in style on Sunday 25th March with a convincing win over a strong Kilcoo side (8:5 to 4:2). Managers, Martin Sherry (Mayobridge) & Noreen Kelly (Warrenpoint) were delighted with this very promising first team performance and, along with the girls, are looking forward to the year ahead.
These U16 Ladies play their 2nd league fixture this Wednesday night in Mayobridge against Dundrum at 8:15pm (immediately following the Warrenpoint Senior Men’s game vs Mayobridge) and would really appreciate your support – club rivals for the Men’s Senior game, then team-mates for the Ladies U16 league game!!
