It was a resilient U16 Droichead Pointe Team who fielded on Wednesday evening against Kilcoo. The young blues immediately took control of the game and great teamwork resulted in Droichead Pointe taking an early lead which they maintained throughout the game. Despite the relentless rain and cold conditions both teams played to the final whistle with great determination.
This success sees a more confident Droichead Pointe team ready to meet Breda, at home, in the next round of the U16 A League on Sunday 14th April. Best of luck girls!!
