A tough season opener away to a very strong Carryduff side, was always going to present a big test for the U14 ladies. Despite the reasonably warm and sunny conditions, the pitch was still heavy and energy sapping, forcing the ladies to work even harder.
Unfortunately, even the supreme effort from the blues strong defensive unit, wasn’t quite enough to repel Carryduff, who ran out comfortable and deserved winners. The final score being somewhat misleading and not truly reflect the excellent work that the ladies put in. Plenty to look forward to for the rest of the season.
