The U14 Ladies had their first run out of 2018, on Saturday 24th March, against Clonduff in a challenge match.
This was always going to be a stern challenge, against a strong Clonduff panel, who will be playing in Division A this year, with the Blues spending the season in Division B. The quality of the match was somewhat curtailed by the pitch conditions, with the Milltown pitch struggling to recover from the recent wet weather, leading to extremely heavy underfoot conditions.
The young ladies from Warrenpoint worked hard and showed plenty of grit and determination but were never in a position to realistically challenge Clonduff, who ran out comfortable winners.
The Warrenpoint Ladies U14 management team were very happy with the effort displayed by the Blues and the experience proved very valuable for the management team to get to know their new panel, that little bit better.
