Well done to our four young blue representatives Orla McLean, Lillie McClorey, Cliodhna Martin and Sydney Barnett and the rest of the Down LGFA U13 Academy who attended the Ulster Blitz in MUSA on Saturday 7th September. Three teams fielded against Tyrone, Derry and Donegal. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the non-competitive games which encouraged the stars of the future to demonstrate their skills learnt over the past six weeks. Many thanks to the coaches who have helped and supported the running of the Academy, Ulster Ladies for promoting underage structures and lastly all parents/guardians for ensuring the girls attended the training sessions. The future of Down ladies is very bright indeed!
