Congratulations to our U12 Girls’ Team who travelled to Hilltown on Saturday 27th August to participate in the Clonduff U12 LGFA Tournament.
Against some extremely strong competition, this young team delivered a terrific team performance, match after match, eventually qualifying for the Final of the Cup, after beating Rostrevor in the Semi-Final. To emerge as runners-up to a much older, stronger Clonduff team in the Cup Final was a remarkable achievement for this group of young girls, who have shown incredible progress throughout the year under the management of Paula Howlett – a terrific end to their U12 season and definitely a team to watch out for in the future!
