Under 12 Camogie First League Game Tuesday 14th May vs Newry Shamrocks
What a historical moment for the camogie club to play in an U12 league division against Newry Shamrocks on Tuesday night. The girls were led onto the field by their caption Abigail Naughton. From the first whistle the camogie girls got stuck in and gave 100%. With tight marking and excellent ground striking from the defence line through to mid field who in turn striked the ball down to the forward line. By half time the Warrenpoinh camogs led the game 2 goals to nil with Shannon Quinn and Ciara Carr the goal scorers. Despite the hot conditions the camogs gave as just as good performance in the second half with a further goal from Shannon Quin and two goals from Teagan Carvill. With such an outstanding performance from all the camogs we are excited for the year ahead.
