Clonduff 1-10 vs Cumann Pheadair Naofa 2-09
The boys played Clonduff on Sunday past in great conditions in Hilltown.
It had been a few weeks since the U12 Footballers had taken to the field in competitive action due to some boys being on holidays.
The young Blues had a great start to the game with a few points from play but began to find it difficult to break down the Clonduff defence who were very strong.
We also found it difficult as we were missing a few players who were on holiday still.
The game ebbed and flowed and the U12s played really well with assistance from some U-10 players with the weather taking a turn for the worst mid way through the game.
On the day Clonduff were too strong for us and played good football but fair play to our lads we did not drop our heads. Man of match Harry Lynch.
