Our U12 footballers made the journey on Sunday morning to An Riocht which saw the young blues put in an exceptionally competitive performance. Throughout the first half the Warrenpoint lads played some outstanding football and were very unfortunate to be going into the break 2 points in arrears. This was largely due to a hotly disputed goal for the kingdom, where the ball seemed to be out of play before ending in the back of the Warrenpoint net.

The young blues continued to press forward after the interval but with the loss of a couple of players through injury midway through the 2nd half the Warrenpoint challenge began to fade.
