On Sunday morning our U11 footballers hosted our near neighbours Rostrevor in St Mark’s. In a very competitive and entertaining game played out in front of a large appreciative crowd the young blues were unfortunate to lose out to a strong Rostrevor side on a scoreline of 2.10 to 1.06.
The U11 management were delighted with the effort and application of the Warrenpoint lads. The boys who have only been playing together for a few weeks will take great heart from the manner of their performance as they approach their remaining league games in the coming weeks.
