Cumann Pheadair Naofa Under 10’s travelled to Burren on Saturday 25th June to the Annual Tournament. Full credit to the organisers and the Burren club as the setup was very professional with over 20 teams separated into 5 groups competing for the Cup, Sheild and Plate giving each teams a chance to play a few competitive games.
Over 20 teams who travelled from Down, Armagh, Antrim Louth and were treated to a glorious day where the rain held off all day.
Our under 10’s had two teams entered into the competition under the Cup (P6’s) and Plate (P5’s). Both teams got a great outing and both played some fantastic football in this, their second competition of 2016. The older age group reached the Quarter Finals of the Sheild competition and were narrowly defeated by Ballyholland.
Training continues each Wednesday and new members, boys and girls, are very welcome to attend!
