P4 and P5 boys in St. Dallan’s Primary School are enjoying the Football/Hurling Coaching Programme which is being delivered by Cumann Pheadair Naofa coaches on alternative Friday afternoons. The six week programme is attracting good numbers. The aim of the programme is to provide the boys with the opportunity to consider being dual players or simply to participate in the coaching as a taster session to choose a preference for either sport.

Club School Liaison Officer Anne McCormack expressed appreciation to St. Dallan’s Principal Mrs Una Farrell and St. Dallan’s GAA coordinator Mr Brendan Rice for their commitment to the programme. The Club volunteer coaches namely Darren Rice, Conrad Madden, Chris Rooney and Conor Keenan have put in sterling work to ensure the success of the programme.
