Having had a moral boosting win last week, the seniors look to build on this result and take on Belfast side O’Donnells on their own turf. With just two weeks to go to the opening fixture of the 2016 season Brian & Marty will look to take their team out of their comfort zone and test the lads as they will look to formulate a setup that will surely look to make an impression on the league this year. Brian will have a full squad to choose from with the exception of Daryl Freer & Eugene McConville, both of whom have injuries sustained in training and Tom Daly due to work commitments, but are expected to make returns over the next few weeks. Again the Blues will look to county man John O’Kane and Captain Mark Rafferty to lay down a marker for the blues, with a lot expected of Chris Rooney, Conor Keenan & James O’Hare. Young guns Cathal Fagan, James McParland, Thomas Magill, Shane Rooney & Saran McElroy are expected to show that last week’s performance was a sign of things to come the boys in blue will hope last week’s win wasn’t just a flash in the pan.
