We are delighted to confirm that our guest speaker for the annual reunion on Saturday 27 February will be Ross Carr , former Down Senior Gaelic football manager and former inter-county player for Down. Ross also previously managed the Down Minor Football team in 2003 and 2004.
During his playing career he won two All-Ireland medals with the Mourne county in 1991 and 1994 and finished as top scorer in the Ulster senior football championship of 1991,scoring 21 points. Ross also won the highly coveted All-Star award at right half-forward that same year. We are delighted to have Ross join us in our celebrations, Ross and his family are great supporters of Warrenpoint and we know deep down there is a little bit of blue in there!
