Rónán McMahon has been elected into the prestige position of Chairman of Campa Chormaic, which was set up in 2004 as a living memory to Cormac in the Brantry a small rural townland near Eglish in County Tyrone. Since then the camp has grown and flourished in Antrim, Derry and Down. Campa Chormaic is Ireland’s leading Irish Language and GAA summer camp and after having been involved in the committee from its commencement Rónán said he is looking forward to his new role.
