A fantastic game of football at Pairc Liam Ui Ir for our Minor footballers against Kilcoo. The heat was the biggest opponent tonight for both teams. It didn’t stop them giving their all. The teams went in at halftime Cumann Pheadair Naofa 2-09 V 1-09 Kilcoo. The Majority of the team were on holidays so they were bolstered with a good selection of U16 footballers who got stuck in and played some superb football.
Sean Carragher in goals was outstanding again this evening stopping some one on one strikes from the kilcoo forwards. Man of the match has to go to Ruairi McCormack with a tally of 3-11, an outstanding performance. The lads dug deep and turned over as much ball as possible and came away with a fantastic victory.
