On Friday evening past the managers and mentors of Cumann Pheadair Naofa came together in a night of craic and thanks. This annual evening is where the club pay tribute to the great work of all managers and mentors across all codes within our club.
Club Chairman Eugene Gallagher thanked everyone for attending and paid his sincere thanks to each and every one of the club volunteers who give of their time, effort and expertise for the betterment of the club. Eugene spoke of being humbled in his role as Chairman at the sheer number of people and hours it took to keep the club running, “it is unbelievable, what you all do is a credit to yourselves and our club, we couldn’t do it without you. Eugene went on to pass his well wishes to both our U16 and U21 football teams who were still competing in Championship football. He ended by saying, “a lot has been done but there is still a lot to do. Spread the good word, we need more people as part of the team!”
