Club Cultural Officer Carmel McGrath has spoke to the excitement among the town and club ahead of the All Ireland Scór Competition on Saturday 6 May 2017 in which our mixed Ceili team will represent Warrenpoint, Down and Ulster for the first time in over 20 years.
The young team have been practising hard and have been perfecting every step with the help of teacher/dancer Turlough O’Neill and there is much excitement among the young team. In preparation for the performance the are holding a ceili on Friday 28 April at 930pm, admission of £5 and the ceili will be called by Catherine McAnulty. There will be supper served and the dancers will perform on the night.
