Inaugural Ann McGeeney Trust Fund Charity Ball

Former Cumann Pheadair Naofa Community and Outreach Officer Ann McGeeney who died on 11 September 2014, and whose strategic and innovative contribution to Cumann Pheadair Naofa outreach programmes was exceptional, is to be remembered by her family, friends and work associates by the establishment of The Ann McGeeney Charitable Trust in recognition of her life and work.

The focus of the Ann McGeeney Trust will be in keeping with her principles and life and will provide support for locally based peace building across and within communities, women’s groups and minority groups both indigenous and those newly arrived to Ireland.

The inaugural Ann McGeeney Trust Fund Charity Ball , to help raise funds and awareness of the charity, will take place on Saturday 17 October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dundalk.
