Following the clubs’ success last weekend in the Down semi finals our Senior Scór ceili dancers, set dancers and instrumental group travelled to St Malachy’s High School, Castlewellan on Saturday 29th February to compete against neighbouring clubs for the prestigious Scór Down titles.There was much hope that their hard work at practices throughout the week would pay dividends . This was soon evident as both dancers and musicians performed to a high standard and Cumann Pheadar Naofa were announced Down Champions in the Ceili Dance, Set Dance and Instrumental making it a hat-trick of awards for the competitors!
Congratulations and good luck to our dancers and musicians who will confidently compete at the Ulster Scôr Semi Final on Sunday 8th March 2020 at 5pm in Glenullin, Co Derry.
