To conclude our Weekend Festival of Football, the U10 and U12 ladies took to the field on Sunday morning (9th June) to compete in the Geraldine Trainor Memorial tournament which included U10 ladies for the first time.
With hugely improved weather and playing conditions from yesterday, the fantastic number of supporters, families and parents witnessed some superb football from the girls with a total of 7 clubs competing across both our U12 and U10 tournaments.
Well done to all the girls who participated in both tournaments and a huge thank-you to all our coaches, referees and indeed all who gave of their time so willingly to ensure that our weekend was such a success.
Congratulations to Burren U10 ladies who won the U10 tournament and congratulations to Clonduff U12 ladies who won the U12 Geraldine Trainor memorial tournament for the 4th year!
