Cumann Pheadair Naofa clubrooms was the packed venue on Friday 2nd June to celebrate the success of our Gaelic4Girls programme that has been running over the last eight weeks within the club.
Ladies Gaelic Administrator, Noreen Kelly, thanked the girls and their parents for their participation in the programme which boasted an average of 60 girls each session. A special thanks was also extended to all of the club coaches and volunteers who helped make the programme such a success.
Down Ladies U14 Captain and club player, Siofra McAteer, presented each of the girls with a certificate to mark their completion of the Gaelic4Girls programme. Club Secretary, Anne McCormack, welcomed the new players to Cumann Pheadair Naofa while U12 Ladies Gaelic Manager, Ciaran Rice, outlined the exciting new plans for the future of Ladies Gaelic in Warrenpoint.
