Cumann Pheadair Naofa are proud to have been selected as one of the Host clubs for 2018s Féile Peile na nÓg .
Feile is an underage Festival of football and in 2018 it is being held across Down, Louth, and Meath.
This will be the first time that Down and Louth have hosted this festival of Gaelic Football and Cumann Pheadair Naofa are honored to have been selected as one of the Host Clubs for one of the 240 teams participating in Féile 2018.
Sean O’Hare, Football Committee Chairperson said, ”This is such a prestigious accolade for the Club as Féile is recognised as one of the most important events in the GAA calendar and is such an important event in any players life as the memories made over the weekend will live with them forever.”
The Féile Peile na nÓg weekend is held over the 29th, 30th June and 1st July and see over 240 teams and over 6,000 players playing over 600 games over a three-day period, concluding in 30 finals.
Sean continued by saying “Feile is a festival of Gaelic Football is about young people celebrating their love of Gaelic Games and having fun. Organising the hosting of such a large tournament within our club is a challenge, but it is one that we as a Club are looking forward to. And with the help of the National Feile and County Feile board we will do our upmost to make this a memorable event for all involved.”
