The 2016 Emmett McGivern under 10 memorial tournament took place on Sunday 6th November against our neighbours Rostrevor.
The under 10 section have come on leaps and bounds from the first session taken back in march and today saw the climax of the season at Pairc Liam UI Ir with a fantastic turnout of family and friends of those playing.
There was one game of older players playing and one game of younger players playing and both put in a fantastic performance. The scores were added up and the winners would be declared as those who had scored most in both games.
Two fantastic games were played by all four teams with Cumann Pheadair Naofa winning the older players match and Rostrevor winning the younger players match – overall it was Rostrevor who came out tops and wee crowned the Emmet McGivern tournament winners for 2016.
