Congratulations to St Louis Kilkeel U20 Ladies Football Team who represented their school and county last Thursday in U20C Ulster Final in Garvaghy, Co.Tyrone. The girls ran out deserving winners in a match where they were most certainly the ‘underdogs’. Warrenpoint were very proud to have such a strong blue influence on the team with Meabh O’Hare captaining the team and club PRO Aislíng McGivern, along with past club mentor Steven McVeigh with club minor footballer Emma Russell also being an integral part of the team.
Meabh O’Hare was presented with the player of the match award, a deserving accolade for a talented young gael, she was then presented with the U20C trophy from Ronan McCarthy, Provincial Ulster ladies Co-ordinator. Congratulations to all involved on bringing the trophy to St Louis for the first time ever.
