On Saturday 20 February five club representatives were Present at the Ulster GAA Council Elevate  Award programme, held in Armaghs Athletic Grounds.

Club chairman Eugene Gallagher was accompanied by Club PRO Aisling McGivern, Assistant Secretary Daniel Bird, Club Community Outreach Officer Roisin Keenan and member of Senior Committee Sean O’Hare to the first day of training.

The Elevate programme is part of the Ulster GAAs Volunteer Development Pathway for 2016 which offers GAA club volunteers an opportunity to receive free training to assist with their personal development and build capacity within their individual clubs.

A club from each Ulster county was selected for the first years programme and Cumann Pheadair Naofa are honoured to have been selected. Club Chairman Eugene Gallagher said “it’s a privilege to represent the club on the Elevate programme, our aim is to use the training received to help us to drive the club forward into the future with renewed focus and energies sparked by the programme”

 

The elevate training continues over the next 3 weeks in Armagh
