U14 camógs proudly made their debut in the championship this morning in Attical. The weather was cold but the welcome was, as ever, very warm and welcoming. Although not the result we would have dreamed off in our first championship match, the girls did themselves proud against an Attical team who played at the top of their game. The girls are a credit to the club, their coaches and their parents, especially considering many of them are still playing at U12. The team was proudly led out by Lauren Cauldwell, who herself had a great game in the midfield. Unfortunately only one score was to be had and that was a great goal scored by Shannon Quinn. Well done to all the girls, who continue to develop and strengthen as the season progresses.
Training continues every Friday, 6.15-7.15pm in St Mark’s.
