Our U12 footballers have had a busy week, starting on Tuesday night with a trip to Newry to play Bosco. In the 1st half the young blues put in a spirited performance going into the interval a point in the lead against a talented Bosco outfit. Unfortunately the second half saw Bosco gain control with the Warrenpoint lads losing out on a score-line of 1.09 to 1.04
On Saturday our U12 players participated in the Pat Doyle memorial tournament in Liatroim. Our boys performed gallantly going out in the semi-finals of the cup to eventual tournament winners Bryansford. The U12 management would like to congratulate Liatroim Fontenoys on a tremendously well run tournament and indeed look forward to welcoming Liatroim to our own “Kieran Dinsmore” tournament on Saturday 15th September.
