There was great fun and games at the April Fools Disco in the clubrooms on Friday night with a great turn out from our young under 8 members .
The event was organised by the Cumann Pheadair Naofa Pointer group as part of the 12 week program they are completing in Youth leadership. They certainly were showing off their leadership skills by organising, publicising and supervising the night with great skill.
In keeping with our clubs healthy club policy we had healthy snacks of sugar free drinks and popcorn kindly donated by the Quays.
There were prizes on the night for whackiest dancers and craziest outfits and special thanks to Friar tucks for providing the spot prizes. The pointer girls were busy with the face painting all evening which looked fantastic. A huge well done to the Pointer group who were being evaluated on the night on their performance.. they all passed with flying colors and the examiners were fulsome in their praise of their skills and team work.
