Six young U-14 volunteers from Cumann Pheadair Naofa, Warrenpoint were honoured by the Ulster GAA Council under its Sports Inspire scheme, jointly administered by Ulster GAA, Ulster
Rugby and IFA. Ulster GAA CEO Brian McAvoy presented certificates to the six young volunteers at half-time of the Down U-20 Football Championship at Pairc Liam Ui Ir, Warrenpoint on Sunday 12th December 2021.
Five volunteers, namely: Teagan Carvill, Ciara Carr, Fianna Murney, Lacey Close and Shannon Quinn were recognised for their practical assistance at the Club Summer Hurling/Camogie week.
Daniel McKibben was honoured for his assistance in setting up the home ground at Pairc Liam Ui Ur for senior football games.
Cumann Pheadair Naofa are committed to youth volunteerism in the club and to this end are currently actively encouraging volunteers age 14-24 year olds to participate in the Sports Inspire Awards
