They say a week is a long time in politics, but that is nothing compared to the transformation that our young camógs have undergone this summer.
Our young camógs travelled to Ballela this morning, Sunday 29th, for the last blitz of the season. It was a joy to witness the progression of our under 6 team. At today’s blitz, they took on ( and beat) every team that was put in front of them. It is hard to believe that only a few short months ago most of them were hitting a sliotar for the first time!!
Our U8’s and U10’s continue to impress. As their skills develop, these young players are displaying a great tenacity and enthusiasm for the game.
We have had a great season and Warrenpoint should be proud of the achievements of these young players. They are a credit to their parents, coaches and club.
