The U16 boys advanced to the final stage of the championship on thursday past by beating the league champions Clan na Banna in a very spirited , fighting display. It wasn’t all plain sailing as the banbridge men pushed them all the way and with some great taking scores were leading 1-4 to 6 points at halftime.
Fortunately, the point found their shooting boots and manage to score 4 goals and 8 points to 2 points in the second half. They now are in the final and for the second year in a row will meet Mayobridge.
