U16s travelled to clanna banna on Thursday night for the next round league tie .Both teams were on top of the league going to this game after only loosing one game each up to now.
Clanna Banna got of to a flying start and went quickly into a six point lead, the blues were on top in a lot of the game but managed to kick 10 wides in the first half, this left them only scoring 2 points in a very poor first half from them. Clanna Banna were much more ruthless by scoring 2 -3 in the first half.
This left a massive challenge for the young blues, but in the second half they managed to pull them back by scoring 2 goals in quick succession. However up the other end they were hit what proved to be 2 more sucker punch goals from clanna Banna .
Banbridge they took their chances when it mattered and run out worthy winners on a score line of 6-7 to 3-4. Next up the blues travel to Rostrevor on Thursday night.
