The weekend festival of football started with the largest of the tournaments, the U10 boys with 9 clubs from 3 counties taking part. The U10 players played in the worst of the weather conditions, but the rain didn’t damping the skill level and spirit of the fair play on display from all teams. The U10 mentors would like to thank all the clubs who attended the tournament and made it such a fantastic event. Congratulations to Mayobridge who were the winners of the tournament.
Up next were the Club’s U8 boys & U12 boys tournaments, thankfully the sun can out to welcome all the clubs to St.Marks. The players put on a fantastic exhibition of football and effort which were a joy watch.
Well done to Mayobridge who collected their second trophy of the day in winning the U8 tournament. Clonduff collected the final trophy of the day when they won the U12 tournament.
