On Sunday morning our U12 footballers entertained Ballyholland in Milltown. The first half saw the Ballyholland boys come flying out of the traps. Throughout this period the young blues struggled to get to grips with the movement of their Ballyholland counterparts and only for the heroics of Iarlaith Carr in the Warrenpoint goal the game could have been over well before the HT whistle.
The second half saw the young blues show a great deal of spirit against a very talented Ballyholland side. Despite the improvement from the Warrenpoint lads in the second half, Ballyholland where able see out the game and emerge victorious.
