While the South Down U12 league is on a break until the end of July, our U12 footballers entertained Burren in a challenge match in St Mark’s.
In a game that was full of good play from both sides, the young blues will take great heart from the manner of their performance as they enter into the final round of matches in the league.
The game though was marred by an injury to young Burren man Ben Ward, who had broken his wrist. The players and management of Warrenpoint U12’s would like to wish Ben a speedy recovery.
