CPN Football Chairman, Liam Howlett has confirmed that preparations are at an advanced stage for the Emmett McGivern U-10 Memorial Football Tournament. This is the final tournament of the summer tournaments organised by Cumann Pheadair Naofa to honour the memory of past gaels who have had associations with the Club. The tournament takes place at Pairc Liam Uí Ír on Saturday 5 September 2015. Emmett McGivern (Senior) played a significant role in the development of St. Peter’s GAA Club over the years and, in keeping with family club traditions, Emmett’s son E.T., daughter in law Fiona and grand children Aisling and Ciaran are active members of Cumann Pheadair Naofa GAA Club.
