Cumann Pheadair Naofa under 8’s were represented with two teams in Clonduffs tournament on Saturday with a P3 and P4 team participating. The P3’s started with great wins over Newry Shamrocks, Magherafelt and Saval the Warrenpoint P3 team done really well to reach the Plate semi final. Unfortunately the heat began to takes its toll and they lost out to a very strong Ballyholland team. The boys and girls however can take great heart from their efforts.
The P4’s had an indifferent start against Burren and Magherafelt before really upping their game against Clann Eireann. In the quarter finals they defeated Saval B before a very dramatic semi win against Saval A. Unfortunately they narrowly lost the Shield final to Glen Emmetts.
All in all the coaches and parents were very proud of the efforts of all the players. A massive thank you to Clonduff for the very smoothly run Tournament.
