Cumann Pheadair Naofa’s U12 Ladies played host to a very strong Rostrevor side on Wednesday 25th April. In wet and windy conditions, the U12 girls battled hard but the visiting Reds just proved too strong in the end (0-0 to 1-9).
Speaking after the game, U12 Manager, Paul McClorey, expressed his optimism for the season ahead provided that the girls continue to turn up and apply themselves both at training and games stating that it’s still very early days in the U12 League calendar.
Next Saturday (5th May) our U12 Ladies will host the fourth and final ‘Geraldine Trainor Memorial U12 Tournament’ in Pairc Liam Ur Ir, Moygannon (10am-1pm). Come out and support the young blues in what promises to be a fantastic morning of Ladies football!
