On Saturday Cumann Pheadaír Naofa U6’s travelled with a healthy contingent of 13 players to a local blitz in Clonduff. The blitz was superbly organised by the host club and the glorious weather helped for an atmosphere of fun and Hurling. The U6’s played matches against Clonduff, Kilclief, Newry Shamrocks, Ballycran and Ballygalget. All the boys played some great hurling with our P2’s leading the way with Darragh, Marty, Conor and Rory standing out against everything the other teams had to offer. The younger players on the team showed they were up for the task as well with Paddy and Joe having a great days hurling while Odhrán, Zac and Daniel showed great enthusiasm for young players. Cumann Pheadaír Naofa scored some goals, conceded some goals, played in between matches and had a great days hurling. Training continues Fridays 6.15 to 7 in Milltown.
