It is that time of the year again when we celebrate a year gone by and gather as friends, committee members and teams to socialise and enjoy a successful year. This year’s festivities will take place in The Whistledown Hotel on Saturday 3 March, guests of honour will be this year’s Ulster Scór Sinsear Ceili Winners, our mixed team and their mentors.
In the playing section, there has been much thought and deliberation around the coveted player of the year awards in all teams, finals lists have been handed in and the following nominations finalised:
Senior Football Player of the Year: Ryan Boyle, Conor D’Arcy, Donnagh McAleenan.
Senior Football Players Player: Ryan Magee, Donnagh McAleenan, Ryan Boyle, Paddy Murdock
Minor Football Player of the Year: Ruairi McCormack, Jamie Lynch, Thomas O Hare.
Ladies Minor Football Player of the Year: Niamh Rice, Eanna Austin, Kirsty Fegan
Senior Hurling Player of the Year: Jason Gray, Conor Keenan, James McParland.
Senior Hurling Players Player: Mark Rafferty, Jason Gray, Tom Daly
It has been a fantastic year for the club both on and off the field and we wish all our nominees the very best of luck, tickets are available by contacting Aislíng McGivern or Eugene Gallagher. Tickets are priced at £30 and include a 4 course meal and music afterwards. It promises to be a fantastic night of celebration!
