On your marks, get set, go! On Sunday saw the launch of this years 5/10k on the Bay, which is famous for being the most picturesque run in our area! Race organiser Declan Ryan is confident this year will be the biggest event in terms of number since the event has began. The chipped run will take place on Sunday 21 May at 10.30am, cost £12.
New for this year is the Charity 5/10k Walk which will follow same route leaving clubrooms at 9.45am. There is no charge for walkers but there will have a bucket charity collection at the start. Donations will be divided between Southern Area Hospice and the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Pictured are some of Cumann Pheadair Naofa members who are in training for the big run and the family charity walk.
