The ‘Relax Kids’ programme delivered by the Health and Well Being Committee and trained leader Eilish Burns has to date proved to be a great success. On Monday evenings 17 boys and girls aged 5-6 have been learning how to relax in a warm, comfortable and welcoming environment. This is fitting considering the GAA new focus on mental health and well – being.
Leader Eilish Burns along with Mary Walsh, Linda O’Hare and Health and Well-Being Officer Katrina Kernan are delighted with the engagement of the programme and said the kids are having, ‘lots of fun learning to relax!” Cumann Pheadair Naofa are leading the way in Health and Well Being in the County and Province and there are plenty more programmes on the calendar for next year.
